Our mission
Minnesota SAFPlan is a coalition of providers, advocacy organizations
and individuals committed to assuring that a full range of affordable
planning services are available and accessible throughout the state of
Minnesota.
Our purpose
The purpose of Minnesota SAFPlan is to champion the provision of affordable,
comprehensive family planning services for all minnesotans. In order
to fulfill that purpose, the following objectives have been identified:

To strengthen the capacity of its member organizations to provide comprehensive family planning services through training and technical assistance.

To ensure a broad membership to include agencies and individuals representing communities of color, immigrants and refugees.

To maintain a functionl infrastructure that ensures the long-term viability and effectiveness of the organization.

To provide a means to influence local, state and federal legislation which affects family planning services.
Membership
Minnesota SAFPlan is the only indepenent professional organization devoted exclusively
to family planning in the State of Minnesota. Membership in Minnesota SAFPlan
is open to individuals, organiztions and businesses in agreement with its purpose.

Individuals interested in and willing to promote access to comprehensive, affordable family planning services for all Minnesotans.
